Faculty Awards

The Department of Management and Accountancy has distinguished faculty that are committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. Over the years alumni, students, faculty, and staff have recognized these faculty for their outstanding contributions to the University of North Carolina at Asheville.

OBTS Teaching Society for Management Educators  (2010) -  Micheal Stratton

The award recognizes an individual early in her or his career who has demonstrated significant promise for creating new ways of thinking about and practicing management sciences. Dr. Stratton was cited for creativity in linking emotion and technology to the educational process, his dedication to student learning and excellent teaching evaluations.
