The Department of Business is dedicated to assisting our majors in achieving their academic goals. There are a variety of both need based and merit scholarships available in the Department of Business. The following is a list of scholarships that are specifically for business and/or accounting majors. In some cases, the donor has specified the amount of money provided by the award. In other cases, funds available and the number of scholarships awarded influence the amount of the award.
- To be considered for any need-based scholarship, a student must have submitted a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- If you wish to apply for a scholarship for the 2024-2025 academic year, please complete the 2023-2024 Department of Business scholarship application form. Please contact Dr. Jeffrey Shields, Scholarship Committee Chair, at jshields@unca.edu for any questions regarding the scholarships.
We are continually seeking to provide opportunities to generate additional financial assistance for our students. If you are interested in making a donation to any of these existing scholarship endowments or establishing a new endowment, please contact Dr. Marcia Ghidina, Chair & Professor of Anthropology & Sociology; Interim Chair of Business.
